Nightlife at Walt Disney World

Though it is a family friendly place with plenty of children, Disney definitely has some offerings for adults when the sun goes down.  If you're looking for info on nightlife in and around Disney, you've found the right spot.

Do you think that when the gates of the Magic Kingdom close, the whole Disney complex goes into quiet mode?  Not the case!  If you're an adult looking for something to do after the sun goes down on another magical day at the parks, check out some of these options!

Disney's Boardwalk

A charming, quaint, and nostalgic place to grab some ice cream or browse shops by day, at night, the Boardwalk serves up some great entertainment for your crowd.

The Boardwalk boasts some good places to indulge and relax over an adult beverage. For starters, Disney's Boardwalk boasts the only brew pub, Big River Grille and Brewing Works, within WDW.  The ESPN Club is ready for those looking to catch the big game and relax with drinks and food.  Also an option at the Boardwalk is Jellyrolls, a bar complete with excellent dueling pianos and sing alongs.  After a day of hoofing it around the parks, a lot of relaxing fun can be had here with nary a child in site.

Disney Springs(formerly Downtown Disney)

Whether you are looking for world class dining(think Iron Chef!), a few drinks, a movie, bowling or a live show, Disney Springs is be a great place to head to for some after hours fun, and is sure to have what you are looking for

Interested in a late dinner that's removed from standard theme park fare?  Disney Springs offers a variety of restaurants for a late meal, snack, dessert or drinks. From Disney Spring's newest offering, Morimoto Asia(yes, *that* Morimoto, of Iron Chef fame) to old favorites like Raglan Road, the variety of food and drinks that can be found is huge, sure to please the most sophisticated or pickiest of palates.

If shopping is more your idea of some late night fun, Disney Springs aims to please.  It has a whole myriad of shops open quite late just waiting for your cash or plastic.

Disney Springs also offers many entertainment options. Take in a Cirque Du Soleil show with La Nouba, hit the pins with bowling at Splitsville Lanes or listen to some rockin' good tunes at the House of Blues, and that's just the tip of the iceberg. Disney Springs has something for everyone!

Resorts

While places like the Boardwalk and Disney Springs have a lot to offer, sometimes you just aren't up for more walking after a day at the parks. Many resorts offer restaurants, bars and lounges perfect for unwinding. The Rix Lounge at Coronado Springs resort, Yehaa Bob tickling the ivory at the River Roost Lounge Bar at Port Orleans Riverside, or Aloha and Ahoy at Trader Sam's Grog Grotto at the Polynesian Village Resort, chances are your resort has what you need to kick back and relax(or keep the party going) after hours.

So if you aren't ready to call it a day when the fireworks are over, or if you've taken a day off from the parks and have spent the day by the pool, and you're ready to check out what Disney has to offer when the sun goes down, you won't find a shortage of things to keep you busy!
