Changes to Walt Disney World's Fastpass+

Beginning on April 10, Disney rolled out changes to it's Fastpass+, making it easier to manage. Here's what you can expect the next time you'll be making Fastpass+ selections for your park visits!

Previously, when selecting Fastpasses, you had to book all 3 at once. If you only had 1-2 selections, it would automatically add a 2nd or 3rd attraction, whether you wanted it or not. Now, you have the ability to make 1, 2 or all 3 choices, without having additional selections made for you. If you do not make all 3 selections, you will be able to go back at a later time and add additional selections until you've made your 3. You will also be able to choose from different available times for your Fastpass return window with each ride/attraction selection.

In addition to those changes, you are now able to make a 4th(and beyond) Fastpass+ selection from the My Disney Experience app on your smart phone. After using your first 3 Fastpasses, you can reserve a 4th in the parks(after that is used, a 5th and so on, subject to availability). Before the changes, you had to make the 4th selection by visiting a Fastpass+ kiosk in the park. Now you have the option of making the choice on your smart phone or at a kiosk, which is great when you are on the go.

The new changes are in effect now, so make the most of your trip by checking them out!

4th of July at Walt Disney World

America’s story, Independence Day, is celebrated at Walt Disney World every year, with a grand display. Around the US, there are so many ways to celebrate the holiday.
