I think it’s safe to say that some people are simply skeptical of staying on site at a theme park. Whether they think the price is going to be too steep or they don’t think it will relaxing, I’m here to tell you Universal has a resort for all budgets and all types of travelers!
First, lets dive into the resort categories on property:

1. Location
All resorts from the Prime Value resorts to Premier resorts are located on property. Meanwhile the Value resorts, which include Surfside Inn and Dockside Inn are located off property just about a 5 minute shuttle bus trip away.
Hard Rock Hotel is the closest to Universals Studios Florida with just a short walk from Resort to the front gates. Loews Royal Pacific is closest to Universal’s Islands of Adventure by hopping on the water Taxi. Universal’s Cabana Bay Resort and Aventura Hotel are within walking distance to Universal’s Volcano Bay. Lastly all other resorts will be most efficient taking a short Shuttle trip to the parks!
2. Variety of Resorts Types and Budget Options
There are a wide range of room types from Family suites at Endless Summer Resort (stating at $149/night) to luxury suites at Hard Rock (starting at $543/night). Guest staying at the premier resorts have the option to upgrade to Club Level and enjoy additional privileges such as access to the private lounge, continental breakfast and hors d’oeuvres. Universal’s Cabana Bay Resorts Family Suites and Endless Summer Resorts come standard with a Kitchenette with a mini-fridge and microwave.
3. Epic Universal Orlando Hotel Amenities
- Loews Portofino Bay Hotel boasts three pools, a spa and fitness center, jogging/walking paths, 8 dining options (with room service available), resort entertainment, Starbucks, arcade and waterfront views.
- Loews Royal Pacific has a lagoon-themed pool, fitness center, 5 dining options (room service available), arcade, and walking/jogging paths.
- Hard Rock Hotel has a huge 12,000 square foot pool that plays underwater music and has a fun water-slide 5 dining options (room service available), jogging/walking paths, and The Sound of Your Stay program which allows guest to rent guitars and turntables in the privacy of their hotel room.
- Universal’s Cabana Bay Beach Resorts features t2o pools, a water slide, lazy river, a children’s water play area. Poolside activities, a bowling alley, fitness center, Starbucks, and some quick service eateries.
- Loews Sapphire Falls Resort also has a lagoon-style pool, a water slide, children’s splash area, fitness center, and a few dining options that include a rum bar.
- Universal’s Aventura Hotel has a large pool, quick service food options, a rooftop lounge and all rooms come with a refrigerator.
- Universal’s Endless Summer resorts have 2 large pools with sand beaches, a pool bar, food court, fitness center, and a game room.
4. Free Universal Express Unlimited (Premier Resorts)
This is the best perk in my opinion! Who wouldn’t want to jump ahead of the lines? When you stay at any of the three premier resorts, each guest will receive Universal’s Express Unlimited Pass for the length of their stay. This pass is also valid on check in and check out dates! It is almost always more cost effective to have this pass included in your stay as opposed to buying separately!
5. Early Park Admission
When a guest stays at an official Universal property, they receive early entry to the parks! Typically, early entry is one-hour prior to opening at the theme parks and a half hour at Volcano Bay.
After considering an onsite property and you still choose to stay off-site; no worries, when you book with All In Vacay you will still enjoy the perk of receiving early entry!
