Give Yourself The Gift of Solo Travel

While many of you may be focused on giving gifts to loved ones this Christmas, don’t forget about treating yourself. Giving yourself the gift of solo travel this holiday season gives you a new experience (if you’ve never done solo travel) and something to look forward to. Holidays can often feel like an obligation and can often feel less than merry. Why not change that this year? Take the time to regroup , reground, and remind yourself about all of the things you are grateful for this holiday season. This is not selfish, it’s self-care!

Treat Yourself to Something Different

The last two years have been stressful for all of us. From Covid, to quarantines, and finding the new “normal”, it’s been a lot to absorb and process. Now we have the holiday season upon us and not everyone loves the idea of being stuck at the family dinner table listening to your tipsy Aunt talk and talk, or hearing your grumpy old Grandpa complain about everything.

Why not take a solo trip instead? It may be a little too late to plan for a getaway for this Christmas, however it’s not entirely impossible depending on where you’re trying to go and what your budget is. There’s also the option of traveling in January and February to get away from the cold and to refresh and regroup from any negative family gatherings.

There’s no better way than to start your 2022 with a memorable trip and possibly trying something completely new to you. Plus it’s during “shoulder season” so the pricing is usually pretty affordable!  There’s also the option to start planning for next year so you can avoid the Holiday get togethers entirely if this year’s festivities is all you can stand anymore.

All In Vacay agrees that it’s ok to trade in your turkey (or ham) and family tension for a much more inviting atmosphere. If you have never done solo travel before, don’t worry. we have done plenty of solo travel and can help you every step of the way. In fact, Angela helped a client with her very first solo travel experience to Hawaii earlier this year. Here is her review of the experience:

“I LOVED working with Angela and am so lucky to have found her! I had the best time ever in Oahu, thanks to Rebecca! Upon connecting, she sent me information about the islands and helped me narrow down which was best for my solo birthday trip. Her communication is excellent and knowledge of Hawaii is on point. She went above and beyond for me, also helping plan my whole itinerary. She is a gem. Thank you for making my birthday trip to Hawaii a dream come true Rebecca! ” – Ilene

Which Gift of Solo Travel Would You Prefer?

Maybe self-care for you looks like relaxing at an all-inclusive hotel with poolside service and breakfast in bed in the Dominican Republic. How about a beautiful sprawling resort with premium amenities, sightseeing, and exciting nightlife in Mexico? Let us help you dial into the perfect beachside escape. White sand and warm waters are yours to be had this winter and beyond into 2022.

Are you needing to find some Zen and peace of mind amongst the chaos of work and family? Consider a relaxing yoga wellness retreat in Costa Rica where you can reconnect with nature and your inner self. This is a great way to start your 2022. Rested and refreshed.

Maybe you need less pampering and more adventure. The Hawaiian Islands are the perfect place to consider for adventure. Get into your a car rental, put some music on and let our partner Shaka Guide be your very own personal tour guide in Maui, Oahu, Kauai or Big Island. If you want the freedom to roam but with the legwork done for you, we can have a tour or two booked for you ahead of time so that you can get to know the local culture and enjoy all of the hot spots.
