Wellness and Retail Therapy on Wonder of the Seas

There are so many great options available on the Wonder of the Seas for both wellness and retail therapy! The ship offers a dedicated spa with many treatments designed for ultimate relaxation, a fitness center which offers a full-scale gym as well as many exercise classes, and a large array of shopping in the Royal Promenade including souvenirs and duty-free merchandise.

Vitality Spa

The gorgeous spa is located on decks 5 and 6 and offers over 90 spa treatments as well as a cafe in the area. The Vitality Café offers a menu of light fares such as nutrient-rich smoothies and fresh sandwiches.

Some popular spa treatments offered onboard on the Wonder include:
  • Facials
  • Medi-Spa Services (fat reduction, wrinkle treatments)
  • Massages
  • Couple Massages
  • Body Treatments (detox wrap, salt scrub)
  • Acupuncture
  • IV Therapy (nutrient IVs, injectables)
  • Salon Treatments (hair, nails)
  • Beauty Bar (lashes, brows)
  • Smile Teeth Whitening
  • Waxing
  • Barber Shop

Treatments in the Vitality Spa on are not included in your cruise fare. They can be reserved ahead of time via the Cruise Planner app or purchased while onboard. Discounts can usually be found at the spa on port days, so be on the lookout for discounted treatments listed on your Cruise Compass once onboard.

If you are unsure of whether you should book a spa treatment or not, consider taking a tour of the spa. Spa tours are free of charge and take place during the first day of your cruise, where you can see the spa’s facilities and learn more about the different types of treatments available. I did this while onboard and it was a great overview of the many options that they offer!

Fitness Center

For those that want to get or stay in shape during their cruise, the Vitality Fitness Center offers a full-sized gym as well as a wide selection of free weights, stretching areas, and exercise machines, including the latest cardio and resistance equipment.

The fitness center is complimentary for cruise guests, but fitness classes such as yoga, pilates, and spinning are available for an extra cost. Each fitness class can be purchased individually once onboard, but the most cost-effective way to take advantage of group fitness classes is through a Class Pass. At the time of my sailing (Dec 2022), Class Passes for group fitness classes were offered for $39.99 for any 3 fitness classes, $69.99 for unlimited classes for 5-7 days, or $20 for a single class. There may be some complimentary fitness activities listed on the Cruise Compass, including morning stretch and Zumba.

Also offered in the fitness center are personal training sessions and body composition analysis. Three personal training sessions were $249 or a 60-minute session for $99. The InBody570 Composition Analysis session was offered for $99 for a 60-minute session or $39 for a 30-minute session.
