Epic Eats: A Foodie’s Guide to Universal’s Epic Universe

Universal Orlando’s brand-new theme park, Epic Universe, is more than just mind-blowing rides and immersive lands—it’s a food lover’s dream! Whether you’re craving a cool treat on a hot Florida day, something savory to fuel your next adventure, or a magical bite straight out of a fantasy world, Epic Universe delivers some of the best theme park food we’ve ever had.

What makes it even better? Most of these delicious bites are super easy to grab as you’re exploring the park. Whether you’re dashing from ride to ride or strolling through each themed land, these snacks and meals are the perfect stop-and-go Epic eats to keep you fueled and happy all day long.

A Quick Overview of Epic Universe

Epic Universe is Universal’s newest theme park, opening guests up to incredible new worlds through “portals” that transport you into fully immersive lands. Each portal takes you to a completely different universe—from the magical streets of Paris to the digital world of Super Mario. And the food? It’s just as immersive.

Let’s dive into each land and its must-try grab-and-go Epic eats!

Super Nintendo World

DK’s Crush Float

📍 The Bubbly Barrel

This tropical float is next level. It features banana-pineapple soft serve floating on a bed of pineapple soda, served in a waffle bowl and topped with toffee pieces and caramel popcorn. You can also grab it in a souvenir mug!

We loved this! Light and refreshing—definitely a strong contender against Disney’s famous Dole Whip. The banana flavor is subtle, which even won over someone in our group who usually doesn’t like bananas! The layers make each bite a fun mix of creamy, fizzy, crunchy goodness. Perfect for a summer day at Epic.

A great pit stop while hopping between rides in Super Nintendo World—cool, quick, and satisfying!

The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic

Bièraubeurre Crepe

📍 Café L’air De La Sirène

This sweet treat is basically a Butterbeer lover’s dream. It’s packed with rich butterscotch filling and wrapped in a soft crepe. This was amazing—very sweet, but if you’re a Butterbeer fan, you’ll absolutely love this version. It’s indulgent in the best way and full of that signature butterscotch flavor.

Quiche Lorraine

📍 Café L’air De La Sirène

A warm, savory quiche with bacon, cheese, and caramelized onions in a flaky crust. Drizzled with mornay sauce—it’s magic in every bite. This was hands down the best quiche I’ve ever had. If you love bacon, you’ll love this. Every bite was cooked to perfection—the savory flavors and creamy sauce brought it all together beautifully.

Secret Drink: Beau the Bleu D’Occamy

📍 Bar Moonshine (off-menu item)

Ask for this color-changing, non-alcoholic drink—it’s a fun surprise and a great little break in the middle of your wizarding adventure.

Butterbeer (of course!)

📍 Bièraubeurre Cart or Bar Moonshine

No visit to the Wizarding World is complete without this sweet, frothy drink. You can get it cold, hot, or frozen—and we of course went with frozen, which is our personal favorite.

The frozen version is perfect for a hot day and keeps that rich butterscotch and shortbread flavor super refreshing.

Each of these is perfect for a quick pause between spells—whether you’re grabbing something sweet or savoring a warm bite, it’s easy to snack your way through the Ministry of Magic!

Isle of Berk

Stoick’s Steak Bowl

📍 Spit Fyre Grill

ticky rice, tender steak, mushrooms, sweet potato hash, Manchego cheese, and horseradish sauce all in one bowl.  Even if you’re not a mushroom fan, try this one—the flavor is incredible. It’s hearty and packed with perfectly balanced elements. A must-try!

Ideal for when you need something more filling without slowing down—grab it, eat it on the go, and get back to dragon training.

Dark Universe

Hunter’s Garlic Stake

📍 Burning Blade Tavern

This garlic butter pretzel is seriously garlicky (in the best way!) and comes with a creamy garlic dipping sauce.

Burning Cheddar Bites

📍 Burning Blade Tavern

Fried cheese bites with a side of sriracha ranch for those who want a little spice.  These are the ultimate savory snacks—perfect finger food to munch while exploring the darker side of Epic.

Quick bites, bold flavors—everything here is great for walking, talking, and snacking through the shadows.

Celestial Park

Cookie Butter Ice Cream Cone

📍 Frosty Moon’s

Cookie butter soft serve, sprinkles, cake pieces—served in a cone and customizable with your choice of toppings. Instagram-worthy and absolutely delicious. A great cool-down treat as you wander through the stars.  A picture-perfect snack that’s easy to enjoy while exploring this dreamy central hub of Epic Universe.

Honorable Mention: Pizza Moon

While we didn’t get a chance to try Pizza Moon on this visit, it’s high on our list for next time. This spot has been getting rave reviews for its cosmic theming and creative pizzas—and let’s be honest, who doesn’t love pizza in space?
