Food in Springfield U.S.A in Universal Studios Hollywood.

Universal Studios Hollywood is left off the radar most times when people start thinking about vacation destinations. Sure, it’s on the smaller side of size when you consider other theme parks. However, Universal Studios Hollywood is jam packed with adventure, sights, and evens stars! Universal Studios Hollywood is still a live film set on the backlot meaning during the Studio Tour, you could run into just about anyone!

One place inside the park that also transforms you is Springfield U.S.A. If you are not sure of what that is, it’s home of the Simpsons! Both Universal Studios Hollywood and Universal Studios Florida have dedicated areas in the park that bring the beloved hometown to life in an immersive experience.

I love the food inside Springfield U.S.A. It is so flavorful and themed, so let’s chat about what type of offerings are available inside the park with over nine different dining options available.

The famous Lard Lad Donut brings the bright pink icing and sprinkles to life with the bigger than your head donut. In the television show, Homer can often be found enjoying The Big Pink. Donuts are also offered in different daily flavors (Oreo, Maple Bacon, and more) or even a chocolate donut.

One of my personal favorites is Bumblebee Man’s Taco Truck. There are options like pollo, carnitas, or carne asada. A serving is two tacos with onions and fresh cilantro with a side of chips and salsa. There is also a loaded nacho option that comes with your choice of meat, grilled onions, guacamole, cheese, and sour cream.

Stepping into Moe’s Tavern is like stepping foot into the show. Moe’s offers a variety of cocktails and beers, along with souvenir mugs. However, the Krusty Burger has brought joy to many Bart Simpson fans. Other than burgers, there is also a Ribwich and a Sideshow Bob Footlong Hot Dog on the menu.

Cletus Chicken Shack will bring out all of the stops with the Cletus Peep-Fried Chicken Platter which is served with 3 pieces of fried chicken, corn on the cob, a biscuit, and mashed potatoes and gravy. That is a filling meal to keep you energized throughout the day. A delicious Chicken and Waffle sandwich is also on the menu.

If you’re looking for a quick on-the-go option, Kwik-E-Mart, Kwik-E-Kart, and Suds McDuff’s Hot Dog House will be the areas to look. Marge Hair Cotton Candy, Bottled Beverages, and The Squishee (Green Apple, Blue Raspberry, Lemonade, and Cherry) can be located there.

There are so many dining options to enjoy while visiting Universal Studios Hollywood, but you really cannot go wrong with Springfield U.S.A. for your meal. There is something for everyone to enjoy, and it is a show that families young and old can bond over.

When you are ready to enjoy your day the character way, reach out to All in Vacay for your next Universal Studios Hollywood vacation!
