Enter If You Dare: Universal's Halloween Horror Nights 2025

Enter if you dare. Universal’s Halloween Horror Nights prep is in full swing for the 2025 season, and tickets are already on sale for both Universal Studios Hollywood and Universal Orlando Resort.

So what exactly is Halloween Horror Nights (HHN)? HHN is a special ticketed event that is held on select nights throughout the season, usually early-September through the end of October. This year's dates are September 4 - November 2, 2025 at Universal Studios Hollywood and August 29 - November 2, 2025 at Universal Orlando Resort. The event takes place after hours which means short wait time for attractions, exclusive event merchandise, and exclusive event food options. The event begins at 7 p.m. and runs until 1 a.m or 2 a.m. depending on the location and night.

Let’s chat tickets. There are multiple ways to experience HHN and both US parks. Tickets include a General Admission ticket that includes entrance into the park at the standard opening of HHN. Both parks offer an early entry add-on ticket that gains guests access to the park beginning at 3 p.m. for Universal Orlando Resorts and 2 p.m. for Universal Studios Hollywood. Looking to skip the lines for the houses? Express Passes can also be purchased and they work just like the Express Pass option for the theme park(s).

If you are looking to make the most of your visit for Halloween Horror Nights, the R.I.P. Tour is the way to go! The special tour offers priority entrance into the houses, reserved seating at live entertainment, meals (at select times), and an expert guide to help you through the park. We are doing this for the first time this year and I will have more to tell you in a future blog post!

If you are not sure which way to go with your tickets, All In Vacay can help you pick the best option for your boo crew!

Are we ready to chat houses? The only house announced so far is Fallout, a video game first released in 1997. The game and house is set post-apocalypse in LA where escaping the vault is your only chance of survival. Both Universal Studios Hollywood and Universal Orlando Resort will have this house.

A Five Nights at Freddy’s experience will also be located at both HHN locations, but there has been no official word of where it’s an entertainment location, Scare Zone, or House. I do know that so many fans are excited and eagerly awaiting the announcement of this.

Did you know that the normal daytime Backlot Studio Tour at Universal Studios Hollywood is converted to the Terror Tram for the event and becomes an entire scare event!

I know it’s not a ton of information for now, but there will be more! House and Scare Zone announcements are coming soon, I can just feel it. Be sure to get your tickets to the event of your choice soon before they sell out as they do sell out quickly.

All In Vacay can help you secure your special event tickets today, be sure to reach out!

Disney’s Magic Kingdom and EPCOT have amazing firework displays for the 4th of July. Disney’s Magic Kingdom displays “Celebrate America! To continue the party, there are DJ parties throughout the park at Frontierland, Tomorrowland, and even the stage at Cinderella Castle from 7pm to 10pm. EPCOT also displays an amazing nighttime spectacular each night called “Luminous the Symphony of Us” each night. On July 4th, following the nightly performance, a July 4th-only edition of “Heartbeat of Freedo...
