August brings spooky treats at Walt Disney World! To get the real Halloween vibes in the park, Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party is the one even to visit. We’re talking all things Halloween: trick or treating, costumes, characters, stage shows, a specialty firework show, and so much more! However, Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party is a special ticketed event meaning your regular park ticket will not gain you access.
The good news is, there is Halloween themed merchandise and treats located all over Walt Disney World property without having to buy that extra ticket. The spooky season spreads throughout the entire property, including restaurants, quick service locations, carts, and even at the resort dining locations! Let’s see what is being offered outside of the party! Most of these treats are available from August 19 through November 4, 2025, and some can even be mobile ordered!
Starting at Disney Springs, the Walt Disney World shopping, dining, and entertainment center, also every location that offers eats, treats, and drinks will have a Halloween themed offering. One of my favorite places, Swirls on the Water, always had the most fun seasonal treats! A Pumpkin Mickey Cone is delightfully crafted with a swirl of marshmallow and chocolate soft-serve ice cream inside of a pumpkin waffle cone, then topped with Halloween-themed sprinkles and a Mickey Pumpkin made from white chocolate. The second seasonal menu item is The Sanderson Sisters Caramel-Apple Pie Sundae. This is made with a swirl of caramel and green apple soft serve, a dollop of apple pie filling, a sprinkle of streusel topping, and finished off with Halloween sprinkles and a white chocolate medallion with the Sanderson Sisters.
Keeping on the ice cream path, another location offers the cutest Mickey Mouse bubble waffle cones! This season it will be filled with the traditional chocolate and vanilla swirl soft-serve then topped with SNICKERS crumbles, TWIX cookie pieces, M&M’s chocolate candies, the new SKITTLES POP’d freeze dried candy, and a swirl of chocolate fudge and caramel, and finally two chocolate biscuit sticks!
Another sweet treat locations is Amorette’s Patisserie, and they have the most gorgeous desserts! With eight new menu items for Halloween, this is definitely a treat and not a trick. A dark chocolate mouse with a raspberry gel filling creates the Amorette’s Wilitng Rose. Another exciting option is the Facilier Petit Cake that is made with a marshmallow mousse, chocolate ganache, and a graham cracker chiffon. Amorette’s; Patisserie is also know for their cake designs. The Halloween Minnie Petite Dome is crafted with a white chocolate mousse and a raspberry filling. Continuing on the cake theme, a Mickey Jack-o’-Lantern Cake Bar features a cinnamon sponge cake that is mixed with a marshmallow mousse and a delightful chocolate ganache.
Of course Gideon’s Bakehouse, which feels very Halloween-ish year round, has a few returning menu items like Bride of Frankenstein Cake Slice, Bride of Frankenstein Cookie, and Frankenstein Cake Slice. These items are generally popular, and sell out quickly. Arriving early can provide better chances of scoring your most wanted treat for the day.
Have you had enough chocolate choices yet? I sure hope not, we haven’t reached The Ganachery yet! Home of truffles, made to order s’mores, and the fun-filled seasonal piñata. This year, the piñata is designed as the Poison Apple from Disney’s Snow White! The surprise inside is cinnamon-apple marshmallows. The Haunted Mansion Portain Bars are returning, and they come in a box set of chipotle, raspberry, salted caramel, and passion fruit.
Moving over to the resorts, A fun Captain Hook Cookie that is made with a vanilla sable, strawberry jam, peanut buttter ganache, and finally buttercream. This flavorful item can be found at Beach Club Marketplace and The Market at Ale & Compass. There is a new Fall Cupcake that is just a vanilla cupcake topped with spiced apple buttercream can be purchased at all of the Disney Value Resorts and Centertown Market and Spyglass Grill, both located at DIsney’s Caribbean Beach Resort. The apple and caramel Whoopie Pie Monster returns to Disney’s Pop Century Resort and Disney’s Art of Animation Resort.
The famous beignets at Scat Cat’s Club - Cafe (Disney’s Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter) receive a makeover for Halloween. The Ghoulishs Beignets get spooky with a cookies and cream powdered sugar dusting with a ghoulish marshmallow crème drizzle on top. Also returning to Disney’s Riviera Resort is the fun Halloween Macaron Trio! A pumpkin-spiced milk chocolate, a green-apple chocolate, and a blood orange-dark chocolate create the perfect trio to sample.
Now, not all of the fun announcements are regarding sweet treats at Walt Disney World this year. There are not one, not two, but three new novelties and popcorn buckets coming to the parks! This year the sipper is a Pluto Skeleton and can be found at all four theme parks. The first premium popcorn bucket is a new experiment, Stitch Mummy Bucket, and can also be found at all four theme parks. The final, and the most adorable bucket is the Mickey Mouse Ghost Bucket! This can only be found at Disney Springs (for now).
